Meet Your Guide

“Explore with confidence, guided by experience every step of the way.”

- Andrew Puerner

About Andrew

Andrew didn’t start Hike360 to “escape” into the outdoors, he built it because he believes people need a better way to experience it.

With over 20 years in high-level trade work, where precision and preparation aren’t optional, he brings that same mindset into every hike and backpacking trip he leads. Planning matters. Details matter. And when you’re in the backcountry, those things make all the difference.

Whether it’s a short day hike or a multi-day backpacking trip, Andrew focuses on creating an experience that’s well thought out, properly paced, and built around the people on the trail—not just the destination.

From desert climbs to forested backcountry routes, Andrew has spent years navigating the terrain, conditions, and challenges that come with Arizona hiking.

He doesn’t just know the trails—he understands how to manage pace, terrain, weather, and group dynamics so people can focus on the experience instead of worrying about the unknowns.

Built on Real Experience

Overnight trips require a different level of planning, awareness, and decision-making. Water sources, route timing, gear, and safety all matter and that’s where experience shows.

Andrew approaches backpacking trips with a focus on preparation and adaptability, making sure each trip runs smoothly while still leaving room for the kind of moments you can’t plan.
